# Introduction

Core is a non-custodial crypto wallet for managing digital assets and using
decentralized applications across Avalanche (C, X, and P-Chains), Ethereum,
Bitcoin, Solana, and EVM networks generally — see
[supported networks](/docs/introduction/supported-networks) for the full
list.

Core is available as:

* A [web app](https://core.app)
* A [browser extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/core-crypto-wallet-nft-ex/agoakfejjabomempkjlepdflaleeobhb)
* An [iOS app](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/core-crypto-wallet-nfts/id6443685999)
* An [Android app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.avaxwallet)

Core creates and manages private keys on the user's behalf — from a
recovery phrase, a social login (seedless), or a hardware device — and uses
them to hold funds and sign transactions.

## What this documentation covers

This site is written for **developers building against Core**:

- **[Connect your dapp](/docs/connect-your-dapp/overview)** — the injected
  provider, WalletConnect, and the connection libraries.
- **[Core MCP Server](/docs/mcp/overview)** — wallet access for AI agents
  under a user-signed policy.
- **[Core Web](/docs/core-web/overview)** and
  **[Core Extension](/docs/core-extension/overview)** — how the products
  behave, framed for people integrating with them.
- **[Reference](/docs/category/reference)** — every JSON-RPC method, with an
  interactive playground.
- **[Guides](/docs/guides/connect-a-dapp)** — complete worked examples.

Looking for end-user help instead — recovering a wallet, using a feature,
troubleshooting? That lives at the
[Core Help Center](https://support.core.app).

## The three integration surfaces

**Core Extension** injects an [EIP-1193](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-1193)
provider into every page and announces itself via
[EIP-6963](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-6963).
[Detect it](/docs/connect-your-dapp/detect-core), request accounts, and
you're connected.

**Core Mobile** is not an injected wallet — it connects over
[WalletConnect](/docs/connect-your-dapp/core-mobile).

**The [Core MCP Server](/docs/mcp/overview)** exposes wallet operations to
AI agents — a different trust model built on pre-authorised, wallet-signed
policies rather than per-transaction approval.

Start with the [quickstart](/docs/introduction/quickstart).
